This year, we were honoured to be commissioned to create the Crown for the National Eisteddfod, Eisteddfod y Garreg Las.

Inspired by the breathtaking landscape and rich history of the local area, we designed a crown that reflects the stories, materials and heritage of the Preseli Hills.

This collection draws inspiration from the Preseli Golden Road, an ancient eight-mile trail that stretches across the hills. It is believed to have once formed part of an important trading route, while the surrounding landscape is also closely connected to the story of the Preseli bluestones that were carried to Stonehenge.

Each piece in the collection celebrates this remarkable landscape and the history held within it.
